
Christopher A. Dodd
Christopher Dodd is a trial lawyer with a focus on criminal defense and civil rights litigation. He has tried dozens of cases to verdict in both state and federal court and is widely regarded for his expertise in digital evidence, particularly in complex criminal matters involving computer forensics and online communications.

Before co-founding Fayerberg Dodd LLC, Chris was an attorney at the acclaimed firm Freedman, Boyd, Hollander & Goldberg, where he litigated high-stakes civil and criminal cases alongside some of the country’s foremost trial lawyers. He began his career at the New Mexico Law Offices of the Public Defender, where he defended clients facing serious charges, including homicide, sex offenses, and cybercrimes. His work there earned him recognition as a “Champion for Indigent Defense” by the Chairman of the New Mexico Public Defender Commission.

Chris is a sought-after national speaker on criminal defense, pretrial litigation strategy, and digital evidence. He has presented dozens of trainings for attorneys, public defenders, and legal organizations across the country, and has published articles on the intersection of law and technology.

Chris graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received multiple honors for trial advocacy and legal ethics. He is also a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming.
